Alex Filip will give up Gicu Nemes, his copilot in the Romanian National Rally Championship for only one day. 79 pilot will take the start in the VTM stage at Straja, this being the last test session before Cluj Rally, the last tarmac stage this season. „In the VTM stages, has to be on his own. I am sure it will not be easy without Gigu on my right, but I need this test before Cluj stage.”, said Alex Filip.
The Citroen C2 R2 model was completely revised by Pro Motor Team and it is ready for this race start. „I haven't finished any race this year because of different reasons. I hope in Alba Iulia everything will work properly and we won't have any problem. We really need to win points in Cluj, otherwise it will be very hard to get involved in the fight for the podium in group A”, added Alex Filip.
On Friday June 6th, starting with 04:00 PM, Alex Filip will be present at Orange Shop Alba Iulia on 3-5 Tudor Vladimirescu Street for a meeting with all those motor sport passionate. „As usual, the visitors and customers of the Orange Shop will receive a poster and an autograph and of course they can find out more details about the Citroen C2 R2 model with which I am competing in the the Romanian National Rally Championship”, added Alex Filip.
