Sardinia for the Visitors
The recently published entry list for Rally d'Italia Sardegna, round six of the FIA's world championship season, lists 49 crews. There are only seven Italian drivers, only one Italian car, a Fiat Grande Punto S2000 driven by the Portuguese driver Bernardo Sousa, and none of the regular Italian championship drivers. WRC-wise, the entry however is amazingly strong, with no fewer than 41 priority drivers of whom 32 are registered championship competitors and another five are the Pirelli Star Drivers.

Monte Carlo 2010 in IRC
The governing body FIA announced at his end of April World Motor Sport Council that the next year events from Indonesia and Russia did not passed inspection and will not be rounds of the 2010 World Rally Championship. Meanwhile, the Monte Carlo Rally will be accepted back in the WRC calendar only in 2011. Which finally is a good news for the IRC followers.
