Petter Solberg's third place in Cyprus in a private Xsara World Rally Car came despite a fever, which severely incapacitated him at the time when he should have been most euphoric . His codriver Phil Mills said "I knew something was wrong when he turned the heater up full blast during the rally, but I hardly like to complain in the circumstances!" This image shows him at the height of the fever, but still with his mobile phone close by. He is now firmly on the road to recovery, but admits he has lost a lot of weight.
