To simplify things, the group H vehicles derived from the A8 vehicles, with 4 wheel drive and supercharged engines that have a capacity over 2000 cc (including the ones considered as WRC) and the ones derived from a vehicles of this type – with valid homologation – will be genericaly named „HA8 type”. For these vehicles there will be no sepparate class and standings in 2009.

The Federal Board has decided, with majority, the postponing of the measures to reduce the turbocharger restrictor diameter of these vehicles form 38 to 34 mm for 2010.
