Four nationally selected drivers listed among the competitors on the 19 forthcoming European Pirelli Shoot Out competition in Austria (24-25 October) have been told not to attend. Their federations have been asked to nominate a driver deemed more suitable to the train-a-young-driver objects of the contest. The four are Martin Prokop, four times a winner this in a subsidiary category of the 2008 World Championship, Patrik Sandell (Sweden) who was already 2006 world Junior rally champion, Andreas Aigner, the Austrian who currently leads the 2008 PCWRC with two rounds to go and Michal Kosciuszko who drives an official Suzuki Swift S1600 on the JWRC. Already the Czech authorities have nominated 18 yer old Mitsubishi driver Martin Semerad instead.
