At his arrival at the service park the winner was celebrating his success: “We are very happy for this first win from my career. The car worked perfectly, we choose the right tyres and the team made a perfect job. It was a very difficult rally with snow, wet and sand but finally we passed all this hurdles and managed to have the same rhythm. At the beginning of the second day we managed to increase our advantage and finally we achieved a very good result. I have to admit that before the start our goal was to be on the podium”, said the first time winner.

In the same time, Porcisteanu disclosed his continental plans. “We entered the Pirelli Star Driver in the 2009 European Rally Championship and we will start 3 rounds: 1000 Miglia, Croatia and Bulgaria. After winning on asphalt we will have more confidence for the first rally which takes place in the middle of April. All 3 rounds are held on tarmac”.
